Tristan Strong Trilogy[]
Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky[]
She and Rose talk with Gum Baby about why it to her a year to complete a simple mission. When Tristan says he lost it, she and Rose berate him and Gum Baby for letting them get into their current situation, but are shocked when butterflies reenact his story as he tells it, revealing him to be an Anansesem. She and Rose tell Tristan to be careful with his words.
Later she and Rose join Tristan, John Henry, and Ayanna when Brer Rabbit explains his plan to have Anansi fix the hole in the sky. She agrees to the plan. When Tristan says no she gets angry. She, Rose, and Brer Rabbit fight of fetterlings when they attack the Thicket and tell Tristan to find the Story Box.
Days later she and others join the fight against the Maafa in the Golden Crescent but are evenut overpowered by the enemy‘s numbers. When Rose is downed she cries over her. She holds Rose as she and her give Tristan approving looks and are shocked to learn Anansi has been impersonating Brer Rabbit for months. Even everyone calms down she goes with Rose as the wounded are being treated and hugs Tristan.
Tristan Strong Destroys the World[]
She and Rose scold Tristan and Junior for goofing off and scald them as Tristan explains his encounter with the Shamble Man. They tell him to leave it to them as they leave the boys in a room to wait for Nyame. The following day, she and Rose shield civilians from the world destroying storm. She and the others get on the keelboat and are shocked by Tristan's plan to take them to his world. However she and Rose help direct them to a rip leading out of the dying world. She and Rose are one of many Alekeans who vanished upon arriving in Tristan's world.
Tristan Strong Keeps Punching[]
She and the other gods join John Henry on the shore of Lake Michigan as Cotton almost over powers the steel driving man and box Cotton in, however Tristan realizes it is a trap, but warns the gods to late as Patty Roller leads hundreds of breakers into battle against the gods. She and the other gods put up a good fight but soon grow tired. However Tristan takes out the living plantation giving King Cotton his power, as well as the haint himself. After the battle, she and the others congratulate Tristan as he exits the ruble that was Old Angola. After the sky god buys a tour bus, she and the other gods decides to take the others gods on a tour of the United States to search for more Alkeans.
Appearance[]
Sarah is a tall African American woman with a crew cut, a light brown complexion, and a set of black wings. She wears gold half moon glasses.
Trivia[]
- Sarah and Rose are based on the myth of flying Africans from Igbo Landing, Georgia, where those who needed to escape the most were given wings to fly away.
