When Percy Jackson notices the T-shirt Annabeth is wearing (while discussing his need for quests for his Letter of Recommendation), he says the lettering in her T-shirt, that is SODNYC is School of Design which is the school Annabeth attends. Annabeth tells about her first day in school, her new architecture teacher and her project.
Later in Annabeth's Iris Messages with Percy, she appears in the bed of her dorm room.
Wrath of the Triple Goddess[]
Percy visits Annabeth at the School of Design after getting his second quest from Hecate where Annabeth and her friends are discussing their assignment to redesign the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Like Percy, Annabeth works house-sitting for Hecate around her school schedule, although she calls out sick one day to search for the goddess' missing pets. After learning that Chiron had been a substitute teacher at Alternative High School, Annabeth is jealous that he didn't work at the School of Design.
