Hondo Obispo, a human who took on the role of Shadow Crosser for his nephew and his friends.

A Shadow Crosser is someone, usually a magician, who acts as an anchor to the present when someone or a group of people travel back in time.

Description

A Shadow Crosser stays in the present as others go into the past so they can return. The job is dangerous with the Shadow Crosser going through great physical trauma and a great risk of dying.

For humans, the risk of dying is greater then a Sobrenatural. However certain items are able to give the user a fighting chance, as well as getting the help of a godborn or sobrenatural.

When Zane Obispo wonders who will act as a Shadow Crosser for him and his friends as they go to 1987 to save the Mayan Gods, Hondo agrees to take on the role with Marco aiding him. He uses a mask to give him a power up as well. However when the task was accomplished, he aged decades and was near death. Thankfully, Tlaltecuhtli, the Mexica goddess of the Earth, was able to heal him.
