Tahlequah is a town in northeastern Oklahoma. It is the hometown of Tristan McLean and his family.

As she and her friends are flying on Festus, Piper McLean remembers when she and her father camped out in front of her grandpa Tom’s house soon after he died.

After Tristan McLean loses everything due to Caligula and his people creating false statements of tax evasion, he and Piper relocate to Tahlequah. They are joined by Coach Hedge who takes up a teaching position at a local school as a gym teacher, Mellie, and Chuck.

After becoming a god again, Apollo goes to the town to check in on Piper on her new life in Oklahoma.
Trivia
- Tahlequah is the seat of two of the three federally recognized bands of the Cherokee tribe, the Cherokee Nation and the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians.
