I don't think Tyson ever called Dionysus "wine dude". I think it was Nico who calls him that. Lugnuts250 23:29, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, both Blackjack and Nico called Dionysus "the wine dude". Nico said: And, woah! You're the wine dude? to the god and later Blackjack said: God alert! It's the wine dude!. Dionysus didn't like it one bit. - ♥Honei - Hunter of Artemis, Daughter of Hades ♥ Talk Contributions 19:34, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
I think we should put up a trivia point about Dionysus having so few demigods. I say this because it's odd that the God of Wine, which is part of the reason quite a few children are born in the mortal world, would end up being the most faithful of the Olympians. So I'm looking at the categories for Dionysus and I noticed a lot of demigod tags. I was think about removing them until I remembered that his mother was in fact human making him a demigod. However, he was eventually made a full god so he is no longer a demigod as I understand it (as demigods are mortal). I would like to get some feedback on this matter please. I'm afraid that's no longer possible, Darkcloud. Someone have just locked Dionysus article and no one can edit it more. can you tell me how have power to do that, why he\she have done so, and if there's any way to reverse it?LoboGuara5bruxaria (talk •contribs) 05:21, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
I'm an admin so I can edit the page. Anyway, the page is under protection this month because it is the featured article. I also posted the question about the demigod category exactly a year ago today. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 10:46, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
There should also be the a sentence up somewhere that his animal is the leopard, but the page is locked so I cannot add the sentence. However, I still think someone should. -Noa Girls4everish (talk • contribs) 05:50, June 24, 2012 (UTC)
Isn't most of the campers in Camp Half-Blood either his half-brother/sister, nephew/niece or cousin?
In a way, all the gods are related ans so all their children would be related to each other. However, because gods dont have DNA, none of the are really related. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 16:45, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
Still not sure about greek/roman differences. Because Mr. D can't have wine at camp does that mean Mr. B couldn't have wine on his end?
- No, they're the same people just different aspects. They're basically two different people. HC (talk|stalk) 02:23, September 1, 2012 (UTC)
- It is pretty easy to understand. The best I can explain it is to look at a coin. There are two sides to every coin, a heads and tails side. Now while the two sides are different, they are still one coin. So lets say that the heads side got dirty, that doesn't mean the same will happen to the tails side and vise versa. Dionysus (Heads) was sent to Camp Half-Blood and wasn't allowed to have wine because he chased an off-limits wood nymph, and was punished as a result. Bacchus (Tails) is a different form of Mr. D, so unless he is also being punished, he should be allowed to drink (unless you aren't allowed to drink at Camp Jupiter, explaining the Diet Pepsi). Should we mention about Dionysus's adventures? Like the fact that he and Heracles fought the Amazons, conquered Persia, Arabia, Turkey and north-west India? Also during his travels, he'd discovered so many mythical tribes and creatures. Dionysus's armies consisted of nature spirits, centaurs, earth spirits, satyrs and nymphs.Kronos300 (talk • contribs) 11:50, January 5, 2013 (UTC)
