Maybe Riordan's just a shoddy author who doesn't keep his character profiles sorted out. It wouldn't surprise me, seeing the quality of the books.

In this it says Drew didn't appear in TLO and wasnt there at the battle, but since she is the oldest it is probable she was, she just didnt like her

We dont know. I mean she is the oldest, but she could have joined camp after the battle and used her charm speak to take power.
