This needs to be added to the sun chariot. the train was just another version of the sun chariot like the van or the maserati. there arent seperate pages for those are there? Kaidynamite (talk • contribs) 22:36, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
It is never shown that the train is just another version of his chariot, and could simply be a magical train that he made specifically for the three to save his sister. While it is shown that his chariot can change form, the train never gives off light like the sun chariot does. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 22:42, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
The Sun West Line is not the chariot with 203984023840239840324 cars on it... It's a train. A simple train line that Apollo managed to get to go this way and happened to visit them. SayuriDarling ~ Certain as the sun, rising in the east. 23:17, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
Also, we kind of all missed one big thing. The train is following the sun and will vanish after sundown. If the train was the chariot, then it would be constantly bright as it traveled across the US. Darkcloud1111~Fastest Hero Alive 00:35, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Youve got to be kidding me. its obviously the sun chariot. it appeared out of nowhere, its called SUN WEST LINE and it stopped at sundown. they were sitting inside the train so obviously they couldnt see it shine or whatever. When they were inside the van they didnt actually see the van giving off light cos they were inside it.
Yes, but if the train was the chariot, then it wouldn't vanish at sundown as it is the sun, it carries the light with it. It would be like me telling you to carry a light bulb, but the light bulb will turn off when another light bulb down the hall does. When they were inside the chariot, they weren't bothered by the heat or light, but outside Thalia managed to melt snow and bowl lakes. That train doesn't show any signs of being the chariot or similar effects.
You also have to consider that Apollo had to leave after talking with Percy about dreams. If it was his chariot, he wouldn't have left. Apollo is a god so I'm pretty sure he could conjure up a train. With Zeus watching, his chariot would be way too high profile so he used other means to transport them while he drove the chariot. Once over the horizon, his magic faded and he could no longer help them. Also, when morning came, the train was still there so obviously if the train was the chariot, it would have vanished at sundown as Apollo would have to continue circling the world.
