Demigods of Olympus[]
When does the Demigods of Olympus take place? - Red Duel 11:16, June 5, 2019 (UTC)
Order of Singer of Apollo and Staff of Hermes[]
The Staff of Hermes takes place one month after The Last Olympian, on September 18th. The Singer of Apollo also takes place after TLO, as Percy refers to Annabeth as his girlfriend, but it takes place on Grover's birthday, which is June 5th. The Singer of Apollo therefore must take place 9 months after The Staff of Hermes.
The Kane Chronicles placement[]
I think there's enough evidence to put The Kane Chronicles a year earlier than currently listed.
In The Serpent's Shadow, chapter 5, Sadie says "Lacy had warned me about Drew the first day of school. Apparently the two of them had gone to some summer camp together [...] and Drew had been just as much of a tyrant there." Drew was the Aphrodite camp counsellor after Silena died in The Last Olympian, but before being deposed by Piper in The Lost Hero, meaning The Serpent's Shadow has to be between those.
Also, in The Son of Sobek, Carter says "I felt sort of like I had two winters ago, when my uncle Amos explained the truth about the Kane family heritage..." referring to a conversation in The Red Pyramid. We know that The Son of Sobek has to be between The Blood of Olympus and The Chalice of the Gods, because of Annabeth saying it was "a few weeks ago" in The Staff of Serapis, just before Athena fixed her invisibility hat. One winter before that would be around the time of The Lost Hero. Two winters before would be around the time of The Sword of Hades.
That means The Red Pyramid (late December) and The Throne of Fire (March) should be between The Sword of Hades (December) and The Bronze Dragon (July, based on its current placement). The Serpent's Shadow (September equinox) should be between The Staff of Hermes (September 18th) and The Lost Hero (December).
Thoughts? I imagine there are varying opinions, so I didn't want to make an edit like that without justifying it. TheMoonRover (talk • contribs) 17:01, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
