Thalia Grace is a Greek demigod and the daughter of Zeus. After she was mortally wounded by attacking monsters, she was transformed into a pine tree on Half-Blood Hill, which still stands as the official border for Camp Half-Blood to this day.
History[]
Due to being born against the Pact of the Big Three decreeing that the Big Three can't have any more demigod children, Thalia was targeted by monsters. Grover Underwood attempted to lead Thalia, Annabeth Chase and Luke Castellan to Camp Half-Blood, but they were chased by the Furies, including Alecto. Refusing Grover's attempts to dissuade her, Thalia bravely made a stand to protect her friends and fell to the Furies. Mortally wounded and dying, Thalia was transformed into a pine tree by Zeus in order to preserve her spirit. Thalia's tree put up a magical border around camp, protecting all demigods living within from monster attacks.
