Toxeus was a prince of Kalydon.

When the Kalydonian Boar is unleashed on his city by Artemis, he joined the party to slay it. When Meleager awards the boar’s pelt to Atalanta, Toxeus and Plexippus become enraged that a woman is given the the prize. Later that night the two assault Atalanta and take the pelt, only to be killed by Meleager.
