Turquoise Boy is a Navajo Holy Person and the guardian of Tsoodził, the southern most mountain of Dinétah, the traditional Navajo homeland.

Race to the Sun

Mac Begay comes to him to find turquoise to give to Spider Woman. A day later he, Dólii, and the other guardians and heralds meet at the House of the Sun to tell the monster slayers that the Bináá' yee aghání have befreed. He rides with Mac and Mr. Yazzie to Shiprock. As they arrive he helps Mac fight off the Bináá’ yee aghání. When Dólii is hit by one of the buzzards and Mac falls off, he tries and fails to catch the boy.
