Vortigern

Vortigern is a Germanus, who used to be one of Nero's trusted lieutenants.

Nero asked Vortigern and Marcus to take Meg McCaffrey safely to Commodus's palace. Unfortunately for the two of them, Meg escaped on the way. When Vortigern and Marcus reported their failure to Commodus, he ordered Lityerses to kill them both. Lityerses proceeded to decapitate them with his sword.

Appearance[]

Like all Germani, Vortigern was enormous. His muscular arms bulged against his leather cuirass. His brown hair grew wild and long. His rugged face would have been scary even without the serpent tattoo that coiled around his neck and up his right cheek.
