Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is a public park in Manhattan.

The Chalice of the Gods[]

Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood go to the park early one morning to find Ganymede's Chalice. They meet the chalice thief- Geras, the god the old age- and Percy wrestles him for the chalice. After the son of Poseidon embracing old age, Geras gives them the chalice and leaves.

Sikander Aziz and Daoud cut through the park on their way to Manhattan General Hospital. They find park workers cutting down sick trees and flowers covered in sludge. Sik deduces that Nergal was behind the sick plants. A few weeks later, Sik sees it from the air as he is flying to the hospital with a cure for Nergal's plague.
