Windflower is a police officer turned private security guard along with his partner Sunspot.

He and Sunspot find Hearthstone and Magnus Chase wandering Alfheim. They recognize Hearth and take the two to his father.
Later during a party they are called to the Alderman estate and try to stop Magnus, Hearth, and Blitz from leaving. Jack then slices up their pants, immobilizing them.
After the event, the two were either fired or resigned and found employment at a private security company.

While he and Sunspot stand guard over an estate, they are approached by Hearthstone. He easily gets past them and they call in Siersgrunnr. When the troll is bested by deaf sorcerer, the two run as far away as possible from him.
