York

York, also known as Jorvik, is a city in North Yorkshire in Northern England.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard[]

The crew of the Big Banana stop at the town to learn the location of Kvasir's Mead. Magnus Chase, Alex Fierro, and Thomas Jefferson Jr. head into the city while Samirah al-Abbas, Mallory Keen, and Halfborn Gunderson stay behind to guard the ship.

The city is the namesake for both New York City and the state of New York.
The title of Duke of York, which takes its name from the city, is usually granted to the second eldest son of the monarch when available.
